I keep getting an error of
Unknown user: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
i'm not sure if that means it can't recognize me or if it
doesn't recognize listname?
I am getting the emails from the imail list, but I am not sure
if that is coming from an email that is getting forwarded
or not. I just redid imail completely about a few weeks ago
so it shouldn't still be that old email address.
Thanks for the info below. I am still working on putting
together a standard set of setup procedures and settings
for setting up a new domain. That helps.
I had all the emails for "root" going to me already. Is it
redundant to create a nobody alias? Does it repeat the job
of the postmaster/root functionality or does it work better?

Create an alias called "nobody", and point it to whatever user (or
other
alias) you wish to have the dubious pleasure of receiving all mis-
addressed
email sent to that domain.

By default, IMail sets up a "postmaster" alias that points at
the "root"
user. It's easiest just to set a forward on that "root" user
account to the
address of your choosing... and yes, all of the domain's root
accounts can
be forwarded to one email address.
