Hi - first posting, hope I have the address correct.
I can not get the ODBC connection to work reliably as an external database
for iMail 6.06svs (or any other previous version <g>). I have 1 domain that
I have all working fine. Now I am trying to some of my existing domains to
also use ODBC. I have found several problems.
I setup a new table exactly tlike the other - when I set the authentication
to use External with all the same settings - it is flacky at most.
Usernames (and other fields) are all padded with spaces. This makes email
addresses from [EMAIL PROTECTED] (spaces). I think this is part
of the problem.
I figure most of the "issues" come from the DLL you need to refrence. Is
there source code fro this any place?
Why ODBC - well to use both humankind system interfaces we need to have ODBC
connected authentication (and it makes for a nice place to keep this data).
PS: any ideas on how to make iMail use one ODBC table for all virtual domain
(and also work).
