Assumning you're running SQL7, are you using the datatype VARCHAR for your
alphanumeric columns? SQL7 should never pad with spaces if configured
properly. Are you allowing IMail to create the table for you (recommended)?

No, I don't believe that's possible without a radical re-write of the
odbcuser.dll code.
If you continue to have trouble, you should definitely contact Ipswitch,
since our templates don't have much to do with the odbc connection.
