Paul,

Sounds like a corrupt user file or directory. Can you try deleting the user, making sure the user's directory and files are deleted, and then adding him back? (Saving all important mail to a POP client or something first, of course.)

Also, let us know the user's account name, just in case it's a unique string of characters that is somehow causing the problem.

Thanks,
Ron

Subject: [imail] One account can't send attachments

I have one user whose account won’t attach attachments through the web interface.

He can browse for files and select a file just fine. However, when he presses the attach button, the screen refreshes and the file is not attached. The path box is empty then at that point, and the attach box says –no files attached--.

It makes no difference on what machine we try this from. If I create a new account in the same domain, it works just fine. The size of the attachment does not matter either.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Paul Navarre
