Hi,
When using Imail 6 and the NT user database, users can only change
their passwords if the Imail server is the Primary Domain
Controller (not good enough to be a Backup DC).
In Imail 7, Ipswitch has "fixed" this problem by removing the
change password feature when using an NT user datavase under any
circumstances. Here is a copy of the message from Ipswitch:
*************************************************************
Yes. In previous versions, users were able to change their
passwords when the server was using the NT database. This was
actually incorrect functionality. It was fixed for the latest
version of IMail Server.
