The best way is to put those User Options between the "is sys admin" conditional tags in the headerstart.cgi file, so Host admins won't have access to them.

File permissions would probably work, but might cause other problems.

Thanks Ron.  It worked when I hard coded it into the file.  Is there a way to prevent someone else from making the same mistake in the future?  Could I just change the file permissions for those two files?

Yes, you can create a /web directory underneath the virtual host's top directory, and inside it put JUST the customized template(s). For example, with KWM, that file would be LoginScreen.cgi, and with CWM, it would be both login.html and plogin.html.

To customize the templates, you would replace the <!--IMAIL.WelcomeFileContents--> tag with hard-coded content.

Is there any way to hard code it in to the page?

The welcome and news messages are system-wide in IMail where IP-less virtual hosts are concerned. Only IP'd hosts can customize those messages successfully for their host.

Subject: [imail] mailwelc.txt problem

I am running multiple domains on Imail 6.06.  One of my users who has admin rights to his domain is trying to edit his mailwelc.txt file for his mail domain.  When he made the changes through the web interface it changed the mailwelc.txt file located in the root of the Imail server.  I did create a separate Web directory for his domain but for some reason it doesn't want to change the file located in his mail domain's top directory.  Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks
