It seems that since upgrading to Imail 7 the time to get from the logon screen to the frame set in KWM has dramatically increased. I talked to Ron yesterday about this and he suggested that I try to load the stock templates and see if it is any better before going to far with other troubleshooting. Doing that didn't seem to make that big of a difference.... so for grins, I tried to logon to another account... Before I was just using my own for testing. I logged on to an account that did not have any extra sub folders and that did not have much mail. This time it was fine.
So, it seems that either the size of the account or the number of subfolders is making a difference. Does that ring any bells to anyone? Thanks, Jim PS. I am running 7.05 with the latest KWM templates & Declude 1.26a for virus and junkmail. This is all running on a Dell 2450 Dual PIII 866 with 512MB ram and 3 18gb 10,000 rpm drives in a raid 5 array. The database is MS-SQL on a different server, connecting over TCP and passing a username and pw... not using NT auth.... Both servers are win2k server with SP2. ______________________________________________________________________ The HKSI-IMail Admin List is hosted by........ Humankind Systems, Inc.
