Hi all,

Many weeks ago, I posted a message regarding iMail showing incorrect message count
during a deletion (the original message is enclosed). I applied 7.05 patch. But the
problem is still there.

I finally discover the trigger to this problem. So I am posting a follow up message
to share my discovery (just in case someone is interested).

The trigger seems to be the delete confirmation option in web messaging. If delete
confirmation is enabled, the message count is one more than the actually deleted
number of messages. When delete confirmation is disabled, then the message count is
correct. I tested this several times with the option on and off.

I suppose the next step will be to notify ipswitch so they can fix this problem.

I am using IM7.04HF2 + KWM. Some users reported an incorrect count of deleted
message. For example, I selected 2 messages and click delete. The server will delete
those messages. However, instead of saying "2 message(s) deleted", it will say "3
message(s) deleted". Seems like the message count is always 1+ the actual deleted
messages. The problem only happens to a few users. I don't think this is a KWM
problem.

Has any one seen this problem?

TIA,

Mark Kam
