Those fees are not "hidden" -- you point them out in the faq yourself. Pass
the fee on to your clients who forget to renew.
We used to really love enom -- now we just kinda like them -- we have
thousands of domains with them. Then they started adding a 3% sur-charge
for credit card transactions, which crippled the convenience of using their
services.
They also messed up a few registrations at one point by publically inserting
our password into the city field of the Technical contact. They fixed it.
They are pretty responsive, overall.

Subject: Re: [imail] Dont get ENOM - HIDDEN FEES
Your point is interesting, but the hidden fees are not hidden. They are
written in their FAQ. Also you end up paying $20 ONLY IF YOU FORGET TO RENEW
THE DOMAIN ON TIME.
I manage between 50 to 60 domains in enom and it has a reminder feature that
tells you in advance what domains are about to expire. It also has an
automatic renewal system so you don't have to worry about renewals.
All depends on how you properly use enom as a domain registar and DNS
manager.
>From my personal view I believe that enom is just what I needed. You can
fully manage the most common records of a domain and it's very reliable.
User friendly and powerful. The new domain transfer system is awesome.
it is great to host domain or register domains on it.
The only 2 CONs :
1. From time to time when you change info of a domain it doesn't update
right away. Usually it does. 98% of the time. But for the 2% it updates
within a day or 2 in their own DNS DB. (hard to explain. If you want further
info about, email me).
2. Also if you are going to use it as a DNS manager for hosted domains not
register at enom, keep in mind to be sure if the domains are other than the
usual .com, .org .edu. .biz. info, etc. because if you use .net.co or
.net.ve, or net.XX enom probably won't manage the domain. That is an issue
they are fixing.
My recomendation is go for enom....it is great. If you want further info
about enom and my experience, just email me.

has ACTUALLY PAID this to get their domains back and moved to OPENSRS

time but they do it in a month or less of exp date as other rigistrars put
you on hold of 2-3 months so you can renew..but at enom you buy at $7 for
NEW and in case you forget you pay $20 + 7 = $27 = almost 3 years more you
loose
