Subject: [imail] Connecting to primary host
Hello all
Please help!
I have a ms exchange 5.5 as our primary host. What I want to do is use i-mail 6.06 to work as a secondary host. So in affect split the mail accounts between the two under the same domain name.
I have set-up i-mail so that the domain name is the same (as exchange) and SMTP gateway in i-mail is looking at exchange via IP address of the server.
To display i-mail accounts in the address book I have created them as custom receipts accounts in exchange.
The problem is that I can't send mail from i-mail to exchange.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Let me know if you require further information.
Doug

Title: Connecting to primary host
Because Imail
sees itself as the primary host for that domain and attempts to deliver to
itself. I do not see how you would make this work.
