How often do you reload your DNS server? I recall one
other person on the list having a problem not long ago
similar to this however reloading DNS refreshes the cache
and makes mail flow again sometimes.
If the messages are outgoing this would really be an issue.
I reload mine once per day with a batch file. Bind has a
utility included with it to reload which can be called with
any scheduler such as WinAT.
net stop "DNS Service"
net start "DNS Service"
Just a thought. Who thinks at this time of the morning?
I haven't heard any issues like this with 5.04 but you never
know what will pop up.
