Are you using "Internet Only" or "Corporate Workgroup" mode? In internet
only mode I have found that when using the "Find" function in address book
the names are sometimes shown as a comma. Interestingly, if you change the
sort by pressing the column header it will cycle through a series of
variations that show the full name, a comma, and then the name prefixed by a
comma.
This problem is likely related to yours, so if you get an answer please let
me know.
I believe the attribute field outlook is looking for is "commonname". I
have only commonname setup as an attribute and it works fine except for the
above issue.

When I use LDAP to check entries prior to sending it will replace what I
type with a single underscore. Looking at the properties it has the
correct first name, last name and email address but the display name is
blank. If I choose to add it to my addressbook it will add all the
entries available... phone number, etc.
Does anyone know how can I get Outlook to display the name when it finds
it in the LDAP directory without adding the entry to my contact list?
I have added display_name, display-name, displayname, display, and name
attributes to see if outlook made use of these.
