    /etc/hosts is the original HOSTS table for UNIX systems. In it's NT
implementation, since it's a system file, it's reasonable to assume it
should be somewhere in \winnt\system32.

    Now, don't ask me why it's under a directory called "drivers"... That's
too much for me too... :]
