hello guys ,
what we are trying to do is setup linux boxes as
mail servers which will be using dial up connection to the net, i came
to the understanding through this list ,thanks to len that i can set it
in the ETRN mode and receive mails without creating mail boxes and doing
any sort of authentication on the imail server,
we have created a MX records for the local mail server and added in the
dns,
now going through the KB i came to know that i the ETRN mode has to work
it has to be registered in the hostfile of my NT machine .
my question is since i am connecting using a dialup connection to the
net every time i will be assigned a new ip address so how can we update
the host file with the new ip address to make it work in ETRN mode.
