Ricardo,

IMails install does NOT overwrite any system dlls. IMail puts all its files
and dlls in its own directory.

As for the recommendation to re-install SPs, this is usually to assure that
all system dlls are at the current version. One MSCE on the list told us that
it should be done after ANY software install. He also indicated that software
should be installed twice. We have seen a few instances where people having
trouble with webmsg service, were fixed after re-install of SP (like Justin!).
That is why we recommend it. It is one step in the troubleshooting
process.

Is that a 'good' explaination??
