Yes, that is what I refer to the system drive as. On practically
all of my NT machines I have a fairly small system partition
with the /WINNT always being on another partition.
I have always spanned the paging files for each partition
this way and have actually tested several different setups
as they are shown in the MS documentation also.
When the server is loaded down with applications I really
do think it makes a difference. That is why I brought this up.
I have been trying to find some common factor amongst
the servers that are experiencing web messaging crashes.
Perhaps a system not set up for optimal performance is one
of those factors.
That is not directed as a slight towards anyone over their
setup, just another performance issue within NT that may
be affecting the problem. Of course, as usual, my theory
could be way out there in the back forty too.
