How does possible hack attempts work?  How does Imail block these emails?

One thing I forgot to ask.  Did you check the logs to see
if you were perhaps under a SMTP attack?  My SMTP started
doing this one night and some idget was blasting one of our
users with a bunch of 1 MB files.  The users mailbox is only
5 mB though and SMTP started puking processing delivery failures
for the other 200+ messages.  I cleared all the messages out of
the queue and things picked right back up.
