I would assume that many of you are running virus scanners on your Imail Servers. (as I do) What I am interested in is what is the course of action taken upon detection of a virus? Do you lock out the offending file? Delete it? Try and 'disinfect' it? What are you ethically obliged to do now you have isolated what appears to be a virus. Now that you are aware of a viruses existence, is there a legal obligation. such as when AOL monitored chatrooms. Maybe its better not to scan email and thus take on another responsibility. Opinions anyone? Dan Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
