George,

Try Lyris at http://www.lyris.com or Listserv at http://www.lsoft.com

Both are available for NT, featuring most items on my personal wishlist:

        Listserver Administration via HTTP-Interface
        User self administration via HTTP-Interface
List types: Announcement / Discussion / Magazine
        Automatic archiving of sent mails
Access to archived Information via HTTP-Interface
Access to archived Information via NNTP-Newsreader
Searching over archieved Information via HTTP-Interface
        ODBC Access to external databases
Autorisation / Authentication of closed list contributors
Automatic removal of invalid email addresses
        Automatic prevention of ping-pong mails
subscribe/unsubscribe to list address or admin address
        Configurable commands (e.g. subscribe = join = iwant = sendme =
ps7sm3k)
Filter functions against spamming / mailbombing

Changing the web interface is possible with both solutions if you have some
http/perl knowledge.

Regards, Marius

Betreff: [IMail Forum] List Server

Hello All,

Can anyone recommend a Listserver that will handle the removal of bad
addresses and an average of 10,000 names?

The Imal listserver just isn't cutting it.

Thanks in advance
