Mark,

I have the NAV Enterprise Solution V4.0 also. I'm just wondering if the
virus trapping at SMTP level you are referring to is the NAV Internet Email
Gateway (NAVIEG)? I have installed NAVIEG and it is V1.04. I'm just
wondering because I have not installed the full Enterprise Solution
package - just NAVIEG which came on a separate disk as part of a 3 CD set. I
assume that NAVIEG V1.04 is the most up to date version of the SMTP virus
trapper? Or is there something else that gets installed when you install the
full-blown Enterprise Solution.

Thanks if you can confirm this.

Paul Sinclair

I use Norton Antivirus Enterprise Solution v4.0, and love it. Server does
all the virus updates and passes it down to the clients, quarantines files
back to the central quarantine manager, optionally ships them to Norton, if
it cannot ID/fix them. Will do virus trapping at the SMTP level. Check out

No I am not a reseller, sorry for the ad.

Any recommendations on Anti-virus Software to run with Imail (NT Server)?
