Yeah okay thanks..

well I was using aliases with real ppl e-mail and pop3 accounts with an id
that was related to our customer number.
I just want now to have directly the pop account with the right name (not
anymore using a customer id and binding an alias on it)
I have to do that for ca 2000 users .. urggl :)

btw i'm back to version 5.08

i installed 6.01 and had a lot of problems

I don't think there's an automated way to do this. I think you would have
to create the new user and then move the main.mbx, lastlog.in, and main.uid
files into the new user folder. Once you've deleted the old account, it
would probably be a good idea to alias the old username to the new account
for awhile to catch mails from address-changing stragglers.
