A customer told me, he want's to pop all his accounts. I created a
host, same alias entries and a mailbox.
Now, after about 70 MB Mail, he told me that he needs to uses ETRN.
so?
No Problem, I deleted the host, entered his IP in the hosts and in
the 'relay for', restarted the smtp service and finito.
why? the domain's mail, held in mailboxes, is available for reading
by POP or by SMTP ETRN.
But what do I do with his mails that where collected?
there's nothing to do. They will be delivered by SMTP ETRN.
Is there a tool that cuts my main.mbx in pieces and puts it back in
the spool directory?
mail is read by POP or SMTP ETRN from the mailboxes, not from the spool.
What happens if I create a Mailserver on another Imail with a
lower priority?
you waste your time.
