It happens almost daily with us. What we have done (as per Imail support) is delete the .xml file corresponding to the mailbox that generates the error (ie main.xml for the Inbox). Once the .xml file is deleted the user can just refresh the page and Imail re-generates the .xml file. I had sent them a copy of one of the .xml files for them to examine, but haven't heard anything from them on it.
