It seems to be going ok so far. But it has stopped again on me once and I am not sure which message yet...pain in the neck. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tripp Allen Sent: Monday, December 18, 2006 4:57 PM To: Imail_Forum@list.ipswitch.com Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Email Backed up in the QM When the queue manager is processing a file, it renames the Q file to _*.~MD. When the queue manager hits a problem like that and is stopped, when it restarts the files will be renamed to Q*.RMD and will be processed on the next queue run. Look in your logs and see if you find an ERR 005 or something similar. If possible I'd like a copy of that log line and the message it was processing when this happened. And that there are two files with a .RMD extension.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Travis W. Rabe Sent: Monday, December 18, 2006 4:31 PM To: Imail_Forum@list.ipswitch.com Subject: [IMail Forum] Email Backed up in the QM I had a locked up QM. The service was in the stopping state. I killed the process and started the service and it stopped instantly. I pulled out all messages in the spool folder and the service started right up. I now have a lot of files, and they seem to be paried up like this: D23af00aa00000ca4.SMD _23af00aa00000ca4.~MD What is the best way to re-insert these to get them to mail off? ----------------------------------------- Travis Rabe
