Not really - in fact I just eventually put everything back into the log file including the RMD files and eventually everything went out save for a few that had missing bodies. I think that was en error on my part. I have not had the QM stop at all since my 9.X/2006 upgrade. I am on the latest 9.10 and I am a little shocked that it happened. Everything seems to be running per normal again. DO I need to adjust threads/handles or something like that?

When the queue manager hits a problem like that and is stopped, when it restarts the files will be renamed to Q*.RMD and will be processed on the next queue run. Look in your logs and see if you find an ERR 005 or something similar. If possible I'd like a copy of that log line and the message it was processing when this happened. I killed the process and started the service and it stopped instantly. I pulled out all messages in the spool folder and the service started right up.
