Ted, Thanks for your reply, but my question then would be: Why did the patch set up the application pool with 8 processes if switching processes will cause session info loss? I had tested web garden multiple processes before and found that there were issues with authentication, and set it back to 1 process. It was set at one process before the patch, and after the patch the IClient was moved to a new application pool and had 8 processes. Steve, to answer your question, the web client store session information in process. Web gardens run each instance in a separate process. When you switch processes the session info is lost.
