Is it possible to use port 80 for webmail, so you can just type
http://mail.domain.com to access
it instead of using a port? I have tried several times, but seems to block
it out and can't find the page. The IP it is using doesn't have a web
server on it and is ONLY assigned to the email server.
Thanks for any info,
Jason

Speaking of that... We've been begging for a feature that puts a reference
into messages when they are redirected by a forwarding rule. (We use global
rules for spam filtering.) This would really help refine the filters when a
legitimate mail gets caught... As it is now, there's no way to figure out
which rule did what when a valid email gets snagged by the filter...

I agree. How does this sound for an implementation:
Simply have the SMTP server look up the IP address of the sender (doesn't it
already do this for reverse DNS?), check to see if it's in the RBL, and add
a "X-SenderInRBL: [IP address]" to the message. Then you can filter
messages by that header. If only certain users want to participate, they
can (by filtering in their own mail client).
Seems like this would be fairly easy and unobtrusive.
Any comments? (Especially from Ipswitch...)

Ok I don't know if you all have ever talked about this here, but have any of
you ever seen a blackhole list ??

I have heard that the main writers of Imail are not interested in supporting
this standard.
This has been around for a number of years and I and my customers would like
to see it supported by Imail.
