Imail does not look up reverse DNS. That is why you
see so much Spam from with machine names like
joejob.com when the IP address is actually one of
the AOL pools or something like that.
In fact a hook allowing use of RBL would also allow
the use of the DUL. Which is just as effective for
keeping Dial Up Spammers from attaching to your
ports.
Global rules do work well in weeding out some of
the stuff but you can't dream up every angle a spammer
is going to use to get by them so it is tough.
