i am a newby,
i would like to migrate one single ip/mail account to another physical
box...
does anyone reccommend things i should be aware of before i do so?
for instance, when i change the mx, and a records to reflect the new
numbers, (with the new ip/mail account) is there going to be a dns
propogation period i should be ready to withstand...
or
should i dns the new info a few days in advance to have the new numbers
propogate, and then do the change...
i am asking this because i don't want to lose any mail - my intention is to
have it change seemlessly...
anyone have esperience doing this?
