I have been experiencing a weird problem for 2 days now, and have had little
success in clearing it up. All internal addresses have no problem sending
or receiving mail from our server (192.168.1.10). The Cisco router runs NAT
to translate 146.145.51.99 to 192.168.1.10 and is open for ports 110, 25,
and 8383...and has worked fine for a year!! External users have had trouble
sending mail, and I have verified that you cannot at such times telnet port
25 on the machine from the outside, it just waits. After restarting the
router, the port becomes accessible again, for some time until the cycle
repeats.
