Thanks for your help! KILLing smtp32 was what I ended up doing, also. It
seems to be related with a high traffic on the list. I was able to reproduce
the problem, and it eventually was solved by itself this time, after a
(long) while.
I'm postponing the upgrade because I have more then 1000 virtual
domains... But I'll try 6.03 one of these days.
