Actually, the biggest reason for refraining from HTML email on this and
other lists is the poor folks taking the digest. All messages are jumbled
into one big one periodically, and the format is text. HTML messages in the
midst of the digest appear as masses of ugly HTML tags, not pretty graphics
and suchlike. Plain text is appreciated far more than pretty text...

Note that other messages posted to this list and others on the internet are
done as a courtesy for those subscribers with slower machines, and plain
text creates less work load for mail servers. But don't take my word for it,
notice other posts and you'll see what I'm saying. I'm sure 99% of the list
users are capable of sending HTML messages, but refrain from doing so for
the above mentioned reasons, (there may also be other reasons, too). It's
just good internet etiquette.
Thanks

Gary,
What's the deal with the Plain Text only format being used on this list?
What's all that about?

Well, it's not the Rich Text issue that's causing this particular user from
receiving attachments. It was a problem for other people but now that the
individuals are not using Rich Text she still cannot receive them. Any
ideas?
