Hi Wayne,

Have you tried any modifications to the dll, apart from the usual Mr Nice
modification to reconnect dead sessions.

I had a quick look at it and was very tempted to change to stored procedures
and ado however I would prefer Ipswitch to start supporting it on SQL 7. We
are expecting similar load to you so it may be that we have to switch SQL to
single processor mode.

not enough simultaneous pop3 sessions to cause the cursor problem.

(we hit the problem at 20,000+)

We may be an exception, we have Compaq Proliant 2 x 500Mhz Processor
Machines running IMail which in turn uses an SQL database on other
machines. We have had no problems in this area and have been running
since last October with 2500 accounts.
