We are running Imail 6.03 with external database pointing to an SQL version
7 server. About 4000 users on one server, 14,000 on another, SQL patched to
SP2.
Problem is this: POP3 does not authenticate users about 50% of the time.
Comes back with "Invalid UserID/password" errors. Does not seem to be
related to load or network load, is random. All other services here using
SQL run without problem.
Tech support directed us here in the hopes we could locate a re-write of the
ODBCUSER.DLL that would work with SQL 7.
Anyone have such a file and willing to part with it?
