We are evaluating IMail 6.0. I installed the software w/ no problem. I
configed the server to use my NT domain database for users accounts. My
users do not authenticate to this domain. It is strictly an application
service, if you will (we will eventually have all users going to this domain
once I erradicate OS/2).
In neither place is "user cannot change password" checked. Users have tried
to change their passwords in the WebService and failed. I decided the next
move was to delete all of the accounts and use the "import" feature instead
and begin to build a "true" IMail database. I cannot delete the accounts,
either thru the GUI or the command line.
