This is more of an NT issue than iMail. It has to do with the time cycle
between the account syncronization between PDC and BDC's.
There are two options. 1ST) registry keys you can change to specifiy faster
or slower time cycles, but I would not recommend it since it can generate a
lot of traffic simply "Looking" for changes. 2ND) from the PDC's command
line type the following...
NET ACCOUNTS / SYNC
This will force full syncronization between it and all BDC's. If you use
this often, just create a shortcut on your desktop for it.

Ok, after 20 mins it finally showed up. Is there anything I can do to speed
this up? Waiting 20 mins to be able to put in details is just not going to
work very well... ;oP

Subject: [IMail Forum] Imail 6.03 & Windows 2000
Started using NT Database on one of my domains today and it pulled them all
in flawlessly.
Problem is that it won't pick up any new ones that I add in. Here are the
steps I took:
1. Add user into Domain
2. Open Imail Admin
3. Scratch my head as to why the user isn't showing up
4. I close Imail admin
5. Refresh my NT database
6. Add another user (actually copied one that works)
7. Wait a few minutes, go back into Imail Admin and still nothing.
8. Stop all services in Imail, then restart
9. Still not showing up
It seems 6.03 still has issues or I am overlooking something obvious.
Any suggestions?
Jason Smith
