I wonder if anybody can shed some light on these IMail errors, as I can't
find them documented anywhere.
Our IMail server has over 1000 users and has crashed out twice recently,
preventing web users from gaining access . The Internet link seems OK as I
can ping in and out. Stopping and starting the "IMail Web Service" fixes the
problem, although the log file suggests that the service has not been
started (see below).
The following entries are made in the log: -
20000410 143349 SRVC STOP "IWEBMSG" service
20000410 143349 SRVC ERROR "IWEBMSG" - stop failed The service has not been
started.
20000410 143354 SRVC START "IWEBMSG" service
20000410 143359 SRVC UP WEB service "IWEBMSG" - Restarted
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Chris
