I think that I have stumbled upon an unusual bug between I-Mail IMAP and
Eduora, but I wanted to throw it out to this list first to see if anyone
else has experienced this problem. I use Eudora Pro 4.02 and 4.3 with
I-Mail using an IMAP server. I sometimes receive blank messages from some
people. So far, I have done the following tests.

If I use Eudora IMAP (4.02 or 4.3) I can *NOT* view the "blank" messages.

If I use Eudora PoP I *CAN* view the "blank" messages

If I use Netscape Communicator PoP I *can* see the message

If I use Netscape Communicator IMAP I *can* see the message.

If I use Netscape messenger to FORWARD a "blank" message, (i.e. a message
that appears blank in Eudora, but not in Messenger) I can NOT read it in
Eudora. If I use Netscape messenger to REPLY to a message (and then change
the address) I CAN read it in Eudora.

If I use Outlook PoP, I *can* see the message

If I use I-Mail Web server, I *can* see the message. If I use I-Mail
web-based mail services to forward one of the "blank" messages (I forward
because when I "reply" the original message content does not show
up), it sends the message, but I then get a connection error in my browser
and I must restart the E-Mail web service on my NT server. If I reply to
the message, it
doesn't crash my server, but I don't see the text when I view it in Eudora

I have my mail forwarded to my I-MAIL IMAP server from MIT main campus. If
I leave my mail on the campus servers (avoiding I-Mail) I *can* read the
"blank" messages using PoP. The campus servers don't offer IMAP support,
so I can't test that.

Has anyone out there experienced this kind of behavior?
