All,

As many of you are discovering, email is quickly becoming a "mission
critical" application for most businesses and users. There simply is no
excuse for ~any~ downtime in an educational environment.

I was curious if anyone has setup iMail to work as a "Load Balancing"
service across multiple servers? I don't mean simply pointing DNS to
multiple machines (mail que backups) in case one machines fails... I mean
truly sharing and distributing the mail server load across multiple
machines, all sharing a common User Base, file structure and virtual IP
address.

I would sincerely apprecitate any pointers to any applications and/or Cisco
router setups you could offer. This is one of the "must-have" requirements
our campus has dictated in a new mail system. I know exchange and notes can
do this, and feel there must be a way to make iMail do the same.

Thanks.
