Dwayne,

The restarting of any IMail Service, is dependant upon the IMonitor
settings, so unless that is enabled (monitoring and restarting), a service
will not restart on its own.

The last 4 lines in your log are rather unusual. The first of the 4, looks
like a command line and I do not recall ever seeing one quite like it (but
listsrv is a valid program alias, for the List Server). The QUITs are
strange, too, as again, that is not how one normally seen them formatted, in
the log. Unless you have actually modified the lines, removing the Sequence
Number (in parens!) and the time stamps?.

These things and the Web Server problem, make me wonder if you were attacked
in some way. Or maybe some intermittant network fault is the cause of your
problem.

If you have patched to 5.09, then SMTP service should be resistant to known
attacks and should not stop for any outside reason.
