As far as outlook 98 & 2000 the "send" button only gives you that option if
you installed outlook as "internet e-mail only". I have yet to find a way
to choose between multiple accounts if you install as "workgroup or
Corporate". Some one please inform me if I'm incorrect.

Sincerely,

Bobby Cannon

Eudora Pro sure does.

On this very compose window for this msg, I have a pulldown select box on
the "From:" field which allows me to choose, per-msg, what Eudora
'personality' I want to send this msg with.

I use this feature because I'm subscribed to some lists as
[EMAIL PROTECTED], and to others as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Also,
depends on what's company's hat I'm wearing when I send mail.

I also use this Eudora feature to create "bogus" personalities where the
SMTP outboud server I select from the large collection of open-relay
"trophy" servers I shot down with IMGate. By sending my outgoing through
one of these servers to an IMGate machine under test, I can help the IMGate
builder see whether he's properly subscribed his IMGate to mail-abuse.org
databases. ie, I 'spam' the IMGate machine under test by relaying one msg
through an open-relay that I know is in MAPS.
