On this issue, why don't people use MS-Access Databases?

I have been using Imail with SQL 7.0 for 9 months (5.03 - 5.07)with Imails
ODBC driver, and yes it has a problem if the connection between SQL and
Imail gets dropped, but this has only occured 3 times and one of those time
was my fault (starting and stopping SQL). I can agree that they should
correct this problem and it has been around for a while, but it is still
quite usable.
As far as the gentleman who wrote the ODBC dll, what changes has he made,
does it reconnect if the connection is lost? What still doesn't work?

Excuse ME, everyone has been telling them there are deep rooted problems
with imail using SQL 6.5 or 7
And there response is to do nothing, and bring out new versions AND NEVER
HAVE FIXED THE DAMN SQL
It took another user, (niceman) to create a new odbc DLL which is useable,
and even he pointed out that he could'nt fix it properly, due to Imails
structure.
AND YES, I am fed up with IMAIL, and do not want to have to buy/upgrade to
the next version just to fix bugs that have been there since day 1.

HMM,
i guess some people just know everything... if i was you i would be looking
at my nt OS as the problem.... I have run IMAIL since it was a beta many
years ago, I also know the owners as well as i know my own family.... and
what you are saying and exper i have not for over 5 years...... go
figure...... your complains remind me of a dialup user stating it cant be my
computer... it has to be your system... when everyone else is logging in and
that dialup user cant type a password right....

Training meetings at our company are staggered so that there are technical
support people at ALL TIMES.

Wow George! When we as consumers buy a product how are we supposed to have
"knowledge" of their operation? When they release SEVERAL MAJOR REVISIONS
that contain the EXACT same problems is it our "knowledge" of their
operation that is a problem?
I think you have lowered yourself to the point you accept poor design and
technical support. I don't, and I hope I never will.
I have no desire to know anything about IPSwitch's operations. All I want
is a good solid working product.
When you receive telephone messages day after day saying "we're in a weekly
training meeting...", etc. it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that's
a bunch of BULL.
