I solved the problem this week, and have outlined the steps I had to take in
another message.
But on your suggestion, if I take the Access database that IMail had been
using and import it to SQL Server 7, it will be the format, etc that IMail
requires as IMail created it to begin with.

Better check the format of the database. I am guessing that you did not
refer to the ipswitch notes on proper fields in a database when you do
something like that. Can you add a user to the database? Set up a blank
table in a database, set up the system dsn, then test it out by adding in a
user. Use the format that Imail creates as a reference as to what needs to
be put in. I know if you look in the manual there are some notes about
that...
