Greetings All,

I have downloaded the current evaluation copy of Imail as our business is
looking to move our mail server in house. Setting up the IMail server was
relatively painless. However, we have several mailing lists that we want to
move in house as well. If I can show the boss that the mailing lists are
going to work the way that we want, we will be purchasing the software.

We have a second domain I am using for testing. I have lists set up and
running and they seem to work fine generally. What I can not figure out is
how to set up the subscription requests so that folks do not actually get
added to the list until they send the confirmation email to verify the
addition.

The initial request is being generated off a web page and the folks hosting
our web site have a script that currently adds them just fine to my lists
w/o confirmation. (Our web host has set up a duplicate web page for testing
purposes.) They have our lists on their server set up (they currently host
our email as well) so that the subscription request requires a confirmation
but no one that I have talked to there can tell me how it is done. Our
services predate the current programmer.

I have read the pdf that came with the software and tried a search of the
KB but I have not found the answer that I am looking for. I have seen the
script on Ipswitch's utility page, but as the script our web host has was
working for them I am wondering if it is something in the configuration of
IMail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
