This is a dramatic solution, why not let mdaemon host the domain and have 
your Imail just be a relay?  Get you out of the business of delivering 10 
mb msgs over POP3.

I have never had any pb with mult-mb attachements in Imail 3 to 5.

If you have other clients receving multi-mb files reliably, I suggest you 
quote your mDaemon client an hourly rate, have them Purchas Order x hours 
of your work, and they agree to pay you  if the pb is mDaemon and not 
Imail. Imail's debug logging is useless since it doesn't log the process ID 
with the debug lines.

If mDaemon has debug logging, I'd have the client turn it on, and then try 
the failing transfer and then comb through the logs on both ends to try to 
see what's going on, esp on their end.
