If you run on an Active Directory host, you will need to change the port of
IMail's LDAP.
If you do not run on an AD host, there is no problem with LDAP because the
machine won't be running it.
The thing to consider is if you wish to use NT User instead of IMail or
external databse, you will have to run on an AD host.
I run IMail 6.03 on a Win2K AD host with no problems. Well, no Win2k client
can do an LDAP lookup though any NT, 98, or 95 client can. But that's a MS
thing, not IPSwitch

While were on the subject of W2K and iMail...
So far, I've only installed iMail 5.xx on NT4. I've got a client who wishes
to purchase iMail 6.0 to run on a W2K box that has the microsoft LDAP
installed. Will iMail's LDAP confilct with this LDAP, and if so, is there
an option in ver 6.x to not install iMail's LDAP, or to change it's port?
Also, who has the best price on iMail 6.x (unlimited user version) ?
