I have 80,000 emails that are on a list that I am sending out as a monthly
thing with a dual proc 500 700 mb ram box and a DS3 connection. For some
reason after we sent it the computer just keeps on timing out and I have to
reboot it then it seems like it isnt pumping out the emails. It is almost
like it cant handle that kind of load. Is there any way that I can have
something that will relay all of these emails out? this server seems to have
issue with that many emails. Also there is about 58,000 items in the spool
directory and I went through and did the isplcln -n 1 -l 1 and it seemed to
help. The Imail technical contact that I talked to before I purchased this
software claimed that it could send out 255,000 emails in 1 day yet these
80,000 emails are still in the spool directory since 2 days ago (well at
least 40,000 of them). Any help would be appreciated!
