Yes, but it involves an awful overhead of configuration per mailbox:
1. Create the mailbox within the main (IP based) mail domain, e.g. user1
(@maindomain.ch).
2. Create an alias to this mailbox within your virtual domain, e.g. user1
(@virtualdomain.ch)
3. Create a fullname alias to the mailbox within your virtual domain, e.g.
user.name (@virtualdomain.ch)
We used this kind of setup for a server migration. This way, the end user
can leave his mail client settings untouched.
