The IMail web server does not support Perl or any other programming language, except
for its own IMAIL tags (and of course standard file serving). You can't run a Perl
script, ASP, etc. on the IMail web server.
Also, you can not "hook up" IIS to "work with" IMail. That means that you can't have
ASP code on the same page as IMail tags.
However, you *can* do quite a bit with a little bit of ingenuity. For example, you
can have an ASP script transparently log a user on if it knows the username/password
(we do that here). Also, a number of people have used frames to run ASP code. Also,
you *could* have an IIS server that would just call the IMail server to get the web
pages and return them to the user -- while making any appropriate changes (although
this could be a tough job).

I kinda get that impression now, Daniel, but if you look at document
IM-19980116-JB07 in the KB the admin a pixelmonkey is running this script that
sends mail using the imail.exe utility. Unless he's running a second web
server. I've spent some time on the phone with tech support and they don't want
to support anything related to this issue. I don't think even they know if
their web server can run perl scripts.
Thanks Daniel
