You can also obtain a POP 3 plug in for Exchange from Microsoft. For once
in a blue moon it's free. We use it with some of our customers and it works
great!

You've put his fixed ip and domain name in your Imail NT hosts file?
You can see his incoming mail queued up in your Imail queue?
You see Imail's "mx connnect" fails in your Imail logs when he is off-line?

It "shouldn't", but this is computing, right??
When his dial-up connection is up, can he ping and traceroute from his
exchange box to your imail box and get reasonable results? And you do the
same from Imail to his exchange box?
